Exploring UVC light for virus control

Ten Bio is contributing to a collaborative research project led by the University of St Andrews, funded by Innovate UK, to investigate the use of UVC light in inactivating airborne viruses. The study brings together experts across physics, virology, biology, and optics to evaluate both the effectiveness and safety of UVC exposure. Ten Bio’s TenSkin™ model provides a human-relevant platform for assessing skin response and microbial impact, supporting the project’s goal of developing safer approaches to airborne infection control.
